Dedication

Our school is dedicated to Major General Charles Mohammed Barwah. He is the grandfather of the founder of Barwah Academy - Samuel Barwah Idrisu.

 

Major General Charles Mohammed Barwah was the Chief of Army Staff and Commander of the Ghana Army Forces until 1966. He valued education and provided funds to educate soldiers  in his command. Major General was murdered by the traitor Colonel E.K. Kotoka in front of his wife and children.
